Mom to two incredible daughters, wife to Nick, mindset coach, certified life coach, keynote speaker, and best-selling author of The Selfish Hour.
I’m also the woman who loves a really good cup of coffee, has been alcohol-free for over five years, and fully believes life should be measured by how often you laugh. I dance in public (mostly to embarrass my kids), fall asleep to Friends reruns, and have a gift for helping others feel seen.
Before you decide if The Selfish Circle is for you, I want you to know the human behind the work, the woman who has messed it up, figured some things out, and created this space because I wish it existed when I needed it most.
Let me tell you how this all started…
In 2016, after an exhausting day at my corporate job, I came home emotionally drained and ended up in an argument with Nick. At one point, he asked me a simple question that stopped me in my tracks:
“Why do you act like that?”
My first instinct was to defend myself and to blame him and say, “You make me act this way.”
But the truth was, I didn’t actually know the answer.
The next morning, I woke up an hour earlier than my family, googled how to meditate for beginners, and grabbed a journal. I started reading more, slowing down, and paying attention to the nonstop chatter in my head. That’s when I realized there was a lot going on up there, and it was time to do the work.
For the next two years, every single day, in the early hours of the morning I worked on my mindset through journaling, meditation, reading, and sitting with the feelings I spent the bulk of my life avoiding. That time eventually became known as My Selfish Hour, and later turned into my best-selling book, The Selfish Hour.
What I didn’t know then was that this personal practice would completely change my life and eventually become the work I’d dedicate my life to.

Losing Myself…While Having Everything
I had everything I thought I wanted. The job. The marriage. The kids. The house. The lifestyle. And yet…I had completely lost myself.
I buried me under titles, expectations, responsibilities, and roles I willingly took on until I couldn’t recognize who I was anymore.
As I began shifting my mindset, something incredible happened. My relationships improved, my courage grew, and joy returned. That’s when I realized…this work wasn’t just for me.
I left my corporate career, became a certified life coach specializing in mindset and productivity, and began teaching others how to do the same work so they could create real change in their lives and experience what I had found.
While I primarily coach women (because I am one and deeply understand our world), mindset is universal. Over time, through my husband’s career in college and professional baseball coaching, I began coaching student-athletes, teams, coaches, parents, and organizations as well.
Because no matter your title or season of life, your mindset shows up everywhere and is directly linked to your results.
Why The Selfish Circle Exists
For years, I coached inside other peoples’ programs. I led, supported, and served behind the scenes.
Going into 2026, I knew it was time to step fully into my own space. The Selfish Circle was born from that calling.
This is a community for women who want to be real, raw, and unfiltered without judgment, shame, or pretending they have it all together.
This isn’t about complaining or staying stuck. It’s about telling the truth, and doing something with it.
No matter where you are in life: Married, divorced, questioning everything, financially secure, struggling, confident on the outside but exhausted on the inside…you belong here.
I teach exactly how I moved from living on autopilot to living with intention, clarity, laughter, and self-trust. Not perfectly, but honestly.
One of the Biggest Shifts of My Life
On January 2nd, 2021, I made one of the hardest and most powerful decisions of my life. I broke up with alcohol.
We have two daughters, and I made a promise to break the generational patterns of numbing emotions, avoidance, and disconnection that I grew up around.
I want my girls to see a woman who:
Is strong and self-aware
Can admit when she’s wrong
Feels deeply instead of avoiding emotions
Evolves with every new season of life
I lead by example. I work hard. I fail. I cry. I get back up. And I try again.
That’s the same commitment I make to you.
